First off, Happy 4th of July. I hope you all had illegal fireworks and enjoyed causing mayhem in your local neighborhood, or better yet, someone elese neighborhood! So on with the July update!
After blowing our 2nd engine this year at the last event, FIR Main May 24th we decided to move the time table forward on a rebuilt motor we had been working on. Now the motor is ready to go, and we plan to use our remaining time to swap out engines and dial in the new engine before we head back to FIR East July 12th and then follow up with Auto-X the next day. There is plenty of work to be done but we are up to the challenge and look forward to getting back on track to finish our season strong. |
