All dressed up and no where to go she cried!
Black Betty, just having received a good cleaning and fresh coat of paint with some graphics on top was ready to show off her stuff but the motor said no! The team did a great job getting the car prepped for this past event and we set out on Saturday afternoon proving just that be running close to out best time within a few laps. We were able to cap Saturday off in fine style by getting a solid base setup for Sunday and because we got our 2007 award for winning the 2007 TTE Championship. As for Sunday our program was focussed soley on driver development as we look to imcrease our performance throughout the summer swing coming up. However, our efforts were cut short by our first engine failure after our first sessions of the day. Though it was not too disappointing as the engine had plenty of abuse and served us well all last year. Now we move onto our next event and next project. We will be @ the April 5th event, just not with Black Betty...A surprise is on the way! |
